Catalina has a law degree from Costa Rica, where she graduated with honors, completed the Juris Doctor degree at the University of Miami and has a Master of Law in Taxation (LLM). She has more than10 years of legal and financial experience in Regulatory Compliance in the Wealth Management industry. Amira Bennai, Esq, is a U.S. attorney licensed to practice in the State of Florida. Ms. Bennai holds a Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B) from City University of London, in England and a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami, Florida. She is also fluent in English, Spanish and French. Ms. Bennai’s practice is centered primarily around domestic and international business transactions – with a strong emphasis on real estate, acquisitions, corporate formation, structuring, licensing, stock and asset sales, contract drafting, and negotiation of agreements. Before opening her practice Ms. Bennai served as a an attorney at the Law Office of Valeria Schvartzman P.A.. handling legal matters that involved real estate, borrower and lender representation, commercial business transactions, corporate law, estate planning and international law.
Prior to establishing herself in the US, Ms. Bennai worked at Barclays International Group Algeria, an International Petrochemical Brokerage firm in Spain where she dealt with complex international deals and assisted internal legal team in a wide array of issues. Additionally, she served as consultant for Otismed, a Private software medical technology firm in San Francisco.
